About Root Cause Analysis & 7 QC Tools
Root cause analysis (RCA) is a systematic process for identifying the underlying causes of problems or failures within a system. It is a crucial aspect of quality management and problem-solving methodologies, aiming to address issues at their source rather than merely treating symptoms. The implementation of RCA is often complemented by the utilization of the 7 Quality Control (QC) Tools, which are a set of fundamental techniques used for quality improvement and problem-solving.
The course begins by providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of root cause analysis principles and methodologies. They will learn how to systematically investigate problems, uncover contributing factors, and distinguish between root causes and symptoms. Through a series of lectures, participants will gain insights into various RCA techniques and best practices, including fishbone diagrams, Pareto analysis, 5 Whys, fault tree analysis, and more.
